# Arbeidet STAKES tar utgangspunkt i.

> Ti års arbeid med ett gjenstridig spørsmål: kan et selskap gjøre noe nyttig for et sted som er i ferd med å gå i oppløsning? Svarene her spenner fra et kaffekooperativ på landsbygda i Colombia til småbedrifter i Beirut som holder driften gående gjennom et valutasammenbrudd, via Myanmar, Langa og en lang faglig strid om arbeidslivsrelasjoner. To av artiklene gjør opp status for feltet etter tjue år, én bakover og én framover. Dette er grunnlaget STAKES bygger på.
